From the airport to Madla Bed and Breakfast:
Two possibilities:
1) “flybussen”, which is frequent and direct to the centre of Stavanger. It costs ca. 70 kr. You ask the driver to stop at Madlakrossen, which is the second stop. It takes about 15- 20 min. Look down the page for further instructions.
2) There is a cheaper buss from the airport, n. 9. It leaves the airport more seldom, and doesn’t drive direct into town. It costs 24 kr. You also ask for Madlakrossen. It takes about 30 – 35min. Look down the page for further instructions.
From the railwaystation and the bus station in the center of Stavanger:
When you go outside the station, looking at the lake,take to your left until a roundabout. Cross the street and take the street going upwords, to the left. On the middle of the slope there is a busstation where all the buses named above are stopping. You can take bus 3, 6, 7 and 9. Get down at the bus stop Madlakrossen. Look down the page for further instructions.
From the boat/ferry terminal: Fiskepiren
Take bus 4, and you get down at Madlakrossen. This bus takes quite a lot of time to arrive at Madlakrossen. Bus number 4 leaves from Fiskepiren each 09 and 39 ( for you it would be 20.09.) The two last busses 4 leave at 23.39 and 00.09. Look down the page for further instructions.
Another option is to walk to the bus/railway station. it takes 5-10 min. to walk there. from there look at the instructions above.
How to get to Madla B&B from Madlakrossen bus stop?
Go down some stairs, and cross the road using the tunnel.
If you come from the tow center, go through one extra tunnel on your right.
Go staight on, on the left handside of the huge shopping csenter called AMFIMADLA (if you are not sure ask for AMFIMADLA, everybody know where it is), until you have a street on your left which goes upwards.
The third house on the left, and the left part of the house is Grytingsgate, 6 (Stavanger-Madla B&B). The house is red.
If you come by car from Kristiansand:
Når du kommer fra Kristiansand med bil:
Kjør helt til slutten av E39.
Da er du ved den første store rundkjøring.
Der tar du til venstre mot Sola, Tananger, Madla.
Kjør rett fram på den store aksen kalt Madlaveien..
Kjør forbi et lyskryss, så fortsett rett fram i den annen store rundkjøring (Tjensvollkrysset).
Du kommer tilet lyskryss til. Kjør rett frem.
Så kommer du til den tredjed rundkjøring, som heter Madlakrossen.
Her tar du til VENSTRE.
Kjør 20 meter.
Du er ved en liten rundkjøring.
Ta til høyre og kjør noen 100 meter langs det store kjøpesenteret AmfiMadla.
Ta til høyre ved første gate til venstre.
Kjør oppover.Venstre delen av det tredje huset til venstre (huset er rødt og er omringet av en hage) er Grytingsgate, 6
